Mode of Admission | Through NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) followed by single window counselling of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. Application for admission shall be made to the selection committee, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai. |

Nationality
Candidate should be a citizen of India.
Age limit
A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first BHMS degree course.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board in one and the same attempt in the following group of subjects with the minimum eligible marks. (Improvement marks will not be considered)
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or)

Note:*
Only persons who belongs to Tamil Nadu and to one of the communities included in the Backward classes shall be treated as Backward classes. Person belonging to other states shall not be treated as backward classes in this state even though they may belong to one of the communities included in the list of backward classes.
Homoeopathic is a specialised method of drug therapy of curing natural diseases by administration of drugs which have been experimentally proved to possess the power of producing similar artificial symptoms on healthy human beings. .
