Guidance for competitive exams and career counselling

 

 Living in the competitive world always proves us the saying 'survival of the fittest’, everyone has to compete one another every second to survive. Understanding the plight of the present era the students support, progression and career guidance committee of Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College trains its students for various competitive examinations (AIAPGET- All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test, PSC – Public Service Commission, UPSC - Union Public Service Commission, AYUSH – NEET: National Eligibility Entrance Test) for higher education and career development. Since 2014, it enlightens its students about the importance of facing such examinations through exam oriented classes, coaching classes, mock test, etc in the name “Sarada Krishna Enrichment Training for Competitive Examinations in Homoeopathy” (SKETCH). Dr. T. Ajayan, Prof., & HoD, Practice of Medicine is the Co-ordinator of the committee.

It conducts special coaching classes for AIAPGET- All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test under the title "Pravesha Pariksha". In Pravesha Pariksha, coaching, exam tips and list of study materials are given by the resource persons (subject experts) from various localities for seven days; online mock tests are conducted every day. At the end of the seven day programme, the students are provided with study materials.

It also help the students in career opportunities after graduation and post graduation in various fields like academics, R & D, Government jobs, etc,. So far 462 students got benefitted from SKETCH classes and 73 students from Pravesha Pariksha .The students qualified in competitive examinations include 69.
