HOMOEOPATHIC CARE FOR MENTALLY CHALLENGED

As a part of extension activity, we offer free medical care to the mentally challenged people by visiting mentally challenged home, rehabilitation centers, etc. The College team regularly visits Providence Home at Perimchilambu, Bishop Gnanadhasan Arivillam at Chithiramcode and Mentally Retarded Child care centre at Villukuri, which are centres for mentally challenged people, once in a fortnight for extending health care to the inmates suffering from various disorders like Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and other behavioural disorders, for dispensing medicines free of cost. The team also visits the rehabilitation centres – Emmaus Rehabilitation Centre for the Mentally Challenged women at Mekkamandapam and Gerdi Gutperle Agasthiyar Muni Child Care Centre at Vellamadom- every Thursday and Saturday respectively, for looking after the mentally challenged. Free diagnostic and therapeutic treatments are provided. Medicines are dispensed in these centers. The following schedule is presently followed for medical care:
